Hey hey hey!!
I just wanted to do a quick update with my progress. So far it's been great-and I've been maintaining my patient spirit. I have noticed minimal scalp itching, but nothing major. I plan to blot tea tree oil on my scalp for the itching and to add a bit of coconut oil to my scalp for moisture.
So far I haven't added or done anything to my hair. I'm trying to leave it alone as much as possible, but I'm sure my scalp is probably getting a little dry-I want to treat it now so it won't get outrageous later.
I've seen very minimal growth but I can tell there has been some. Initially I had planned to get a retwist after a month so my hair can stay as neat as possible for work, however, I don't think it looks too bad and I plan to hold out a while longer so I can have more growth. I'm still loving it!
